I am a Columbia, South Carolina resident. I have watched as family members and friends have struggled with the hardships of being long-term landlords. Dealing with late rent payments, costly repairs, and properties being left uncared for ultimately drained their enthusiasm in traditional real estate investing. It became clear that their properties were neither truly passive nor profitable.
